A tasty recovery° shake with a 3:1 carb-to-protein ratio, packed with electrolytes. Ideal after intense exercise sessions with limited recovery time.
° Carbohydrates contribute to the restoration of normal muscle function (contraction) after very intense and/or prolonged physical exercise leading to muscle fatigue and depletion of glycogen stores in skeletal muscles. The beneficial effect is obtained with the consumption of carbohydrates, from all sources, at a total intake of 4 g per kg of body weight, in doses, within the first 4 hours and no later than 6 hours, after very intense and/or prolonged physical exercise that leads to muscle fatigue and depletion of glycogen stores in skeletal muscles.

Mix 85 g of powder (= 2 scoops) with 250 ml of water.
Drink 250-500 ml, preferably within 30 minutes after an intense training or competition.

A Protein Unit is a unit of measurement that contains exactly 20g of protein, of which at least 2g is L-Leucine. The Protein Unit ensures uniformity within our 6d Protein Series, making it easy to meet the individual protein requirement after exercise and throughout the day.
1 Protein Unit
20g Protein
≥2g L-Leucine
Protein intake contributes to the maintenance and growth of muscle mass in athletes, a process known as muscle protein synthesis. An intake of 20g of high-quality protein, via a meal or a supplement, provides a powerful but short-lived stimulation. This is ideal for most athletes who consume protein through their diet every 3-5 hours.
Increasing the dose to 40g provides a stronger stimulation, albeit to a lesser extent, making 40g a good option for those who want a stronger effect. A dose of 40g protein is also recommended when the next meal cannot be consumed for more than five hours. Therefore, 40g protein is a suitable dose just before bedtime or for an (intermittent) fasting period.
For athletes with high energy requirements, it is important that a higher protein intake does not come at the expense of other nutrients, such as carbohydrates and fats. With 20g of protein per Protein Unit, athletes can easily adjust their intake to their specific needs.
Protein consists of amino acids, including L-Leucine, which serve as building blocks for muscle tissue. In our Protein Series, we therefore primarily use whey protein, which naturally contains at least 2g L-Leucine per 20g protein. This ratio closely matches the natural composition of human muscle tissue.
Recovery Shake and Whey Shake both contain a high-quality blend of whey protein isolate and concentrate. This keeps the fat and lactose content below 1g, ensuring rapid absorption and strong effectiveness without unnecessary calories. This blend also provides a creamy texture and delicious taste, making the shakes an ideal choice for most athletes.
Whey Drink contains a high-quality whey isolate, while Whey Shot was developed with beta-lactoglobulin (BLG). BLG, the most leucine-rich component of whey, is the only high-quality protein source that allows for a high protein dose in a compact, flavorful shot. Both options are ideal for those who prefer a lighter texture similar to a refreshing drink, or want to completely avoid fat and lactose.
