Swim Ireland, the National Governing Body (NGB) for aquatics across the 32 counties of Ireland, today announced a new partnership with 6d Sports Nutrition for their performance programme in swimming and diving.

With National Performance centres in Dublin, Limerick and Bangor, Swim Ireland operates a highly advanced system of training and development for performance athletes in swimming and diving. It is a progressive system that nurtures and supports identified Irish athletes via world-class coaches and practitioners in a unified endeavour to win World and Olympic medals. It is imperative therefore that the partners chosen to work alongside the organisation are like-minded and passionate about what they do.

Speaking at today’s announcement, Dr Jon Rudd, National Performance Director for Swim Ireland stated that “We are delighted to partner with 6d Sports Nutrition. Like us, they are committed to increasingly ambitious goals and put the athletes at the forefront of everything that they do. As we build towards the summer of 2024, it is reassuring to know that we have a partner of the calibre of 6d working with us to ensure our athletes have access to the very best sports nutrition products in the market.”

Adding to this, Andy Baert from 6d Sports Nutrition added, “We are very honoured to work with Swim Ireland, as it is our brand's mission to maximise the capacity of every athlete willing to improve their goals and sportive targets through scientifically proven and doping-free batch tested sports nutrition. To be able to partner up with federations such as Swim Ireland is a confirmation of all the hard work we've accomplished so far, and this partnership in particular, is the cherry on top!”
